NORTHERN LIGHTS: THE STORIES OF MINNESOTA' PAST.

Through the Minnesota Historical Society Press. Components include 342-page hardcover Student Edition, 342-page hardcover Annotated Teachers Edition, and a 224-page softcover Classroom Resources Workbook of blackline masters. I was the Art Director overseeing and heavily involved in the design, production and delivery of final print files to the client.

Northern Lights won three design awards:

•  Minnesota Book Awards 2004 First Place for Youth Non-Fiction – Northern Lights 

•  The Association of Educational Publishers 2004 - 2nd Place Best Page Design – Northern Lights 

•  American Association of State and Local History 2004 - Merit Award – Northern Lights
